Description
| *** General *** I have a set of Warcraft 2 unit and upgrade properties in Excel that need to be retyped in a pud file. *** Size and time path *** Total work: 1 day Start job: tuesday 17 may Finish job: friday 20 may *** Requirements*** Warcraft 2 is a real time strategey game from Blizzard Entertainment from 1995. For this job you need the Warcraft 2 map editor. I think the map editor can be found quite easily but I'm not sure. Attached is a screen print of the map editor. *** Description of work *** Total size is 1022 numbers. Because it is important that not a single error is made(!) the procedure is as follows: (1) You retype the numbers from the input Excel file to the pud file. (2) I change some of the numbers in the pud file. (3) You retype the numbers from the pud file to an output Excel file. That way I can compare the input and output Excel files to check for errors. (In step (2) I change some numbers otherwise you might just copy directly from the input to the output Excel file.) If errors are found the retyping has to be repeated so accuracy is important. *** Other *** This is my first job on freelancer to see if it works. In the future I might also be looking for someone who can build about 10 complete Warcraft2 maps for me. Therefore preferably you know the game and the level editor *** Applying *** (1) Please give a quote for the total job. (2) Please send me a simple pud file containing: * some forest * some water * an orc ship yard, orc oil tanker and orc oil platform * the oil tanker must have 500 hitpoints * the oil platform must have 12500 oil amount (Like the attached screen print.) If you're familiar with the game and map editor this should only take 5 minutes. (3) Please give me a quote of your hourly wage for future map building jobs. |
